Mirror At Fault Poem by Somanathan Iyer

Mirror At Fault

image of any in its truest form
reflected always by a mirror
vouch this always one and all
funny it may sound or
mischievous may be the mirror
never it happens in my case
whether looked once
or several times
projects me the mirror
always handsome
stepped out in public
dismayed I am in knowing
the fact never I received
a second glance from any!

One looks beautiful to oneself. We look for appreciation from others which never seems to come. Nicely stated.
