Mirror Of Your Moment Poem by TaraD Sweets

Mirror Of Your Moment

Pay attention to my singular plea
Let me be the mirror of your heart
Shimmering the depth of your deepest pain
Reexamining your agony again and again,
As though you were a well fashioned work of art
Why do I empathetically take part
In distress you scarcely can uphold?
Observing your woes in futility
Tracing pandemonium too deep to chart?

Yet I plead; let me reflect your mind
May I visit you every night
With an obsessive fervor,
Eager to consume your bitter fruits,
Anxious through the stagnation of my day.
Alas watching is what I can do,
As though my stare were input silent,
Sharing in your tribulation in some small way.
Will you consider my plea: Let me be the mirror of your heart

The perfect mirror, polished in stillness, thank. John
