Mirrors
You're a special snowflake
a ray of sunshine in the midst of night
it's people like you, always saying
"You're so nice." never realizing
they're experiencing their own
positive energy reflecting back at them
like moonlight on the lakes rippling surface
Simple, beautiful, concise and so true. And so connected to the nature of communication and what's actually happening in certain 'optimistic' and appreciative transactions.
