Misfit Toys Poem by Ramona Thompson

Misfit Toys

Calling forth
All you longing lonely
Creatures of the night
In black leather and slick tattooed skins
I am your sweet angel demonic
Sent from the fires below
To consume the aching flesh of no ordinary men
Hear my plea and hear it now
One and all I want you if you're...

BRIDGE

Misfit toys
Astro zombies
Jaw breakers and neck snappers
Blood letters
Vampires
Come and fly with me
Into the dark
Into the night
Come out
Come out if you dare to play
Lost forever more in my box of misfit toys

Break your wings
Lost those halos and turn your backs
On all those false lies
You've been led like a brainless lamb to believe
Believe now no more
In anything or anyone but me
Your cruel yet kind
Demon temptress from beyond
Pulling you down so deep down
Into the mindless enslavement of my favorite lover's game

REPEAT BRIDGE

All I want you to do
All you have to do is just let go
Let go and die
Die one time for me
Without your gods and without your holy unholy crosses
Die for me
With me
Beneath me
As my kiss robs you of your final breath

REPEAT BRIDGE

What more oh what more my soliders of doomed affairs
What more could you ever ask for?
Thristing and hungry
Lusting your very souls away
Lost in the light of an eternal night
Dead yet forever you will live
If you but bleed
Just a few precious sweet drops
Upon this parchment of neverending sin
