Misplaced Poem by Jayne Doe

Misplaced

Rating: 4.5

I turn to you for support
And meet the upside of you head
As you turn your attention away
Towards the screen in front of you
Muttering your disinterest.
And I,
With a loss of words,
Try desperately to say
Whatever I must say
To ensure your disinterest is not due
To a fault of my own.
It pains me
As I realize
I cannot make you care

I just wish you would.
