Missing Piece Poem by Aaron Johnson 2

Missing Piece

Rating: 5.0

In my heart, there is this place,
where there's a void, a hollow, a space.
It's shaped like losing track of time in her eyes,
like watching the sunset then watching the sunrise,
like deep, dark secrets and inside jokes,
like hugs, and kisses, and tickles, and pokes,
like passions bursting from the seams,
like shared hopes, wishes, and dreams,
like real, genuine laughter,
like together ever after.
So if you find my piece, please, bring it to me.
It's all that I want, and all that I need.
