Missing You Without Shame - Poem by Happy Place

The love that I have for you
What should I do?
Do I keep them like a fool?
Or should I just tell everything to you

Every day I only waited for you
Not knowing what to do
My steps were slew
Helplessly wanting you
And can’t stop thinking of you

Rain and drained
In this loneliness vain
Thoughts of you remain
In these days of pain
Plain
Insane
I can’t complaint
All the secrets remain
In this lame game
Of missing you without shame

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I wrote this while roaming the streets of Bangkok all by myself. I was alone. Never had I felt alone like this. I miss you but I can’t tell you. The thoughts of you ringing and I thought I can go crazy. So I roam around town to get the thought of you out instead, I miss you more.

There is no shame in missing one who you care about. Always remember that. At least you are honest enough to admit to the world that you care about him. Not many would do that. The honesty in your work shines through so brightly, may it never dim. Stay strong and keep writing (Report) Reply

Thanks for reading my poem and kind enough to leave me a comment. I was skeptical to publish my poem because I am afraid on how people may react. I never knew I can write something other then work email. LOL (Report) Reply
