Mistakenly Only Once Tell Me That You Love Me, Original: Ujjal Powgam, Translated By Rupa Phukan Saikia

Mistakenly only once tell me that you love me
*********************

If you would stay with me tonight
I would tell you a lots of talk

If you tell me that you love me
I will bring the whole colours of rainbow and
smear your both cheeks

If you place me in your heart
I will bring all flowers in the world and
sprinkle in your body

If you make me own yourself
I will dedicate the whole night beauty and
the certainity of rivers in your name

Don't you know that
you are my loving bird
In my heart of community
you will build a nest to collect the thatching grass

I don't know whether
I love you because you are beautiful or
you are beautiful because I love you
I don't know too whether you are born for me or
I am born for you

Call me once only
To cross thousands of miles
I will stand before you
I will touch you

Mistakenly only once tell me that you love me
If I wouldn't dedicate myself to you
separate me from this world
Tell me then
