Mistakes Poem by Sylvia Chidi

Mistakes

Rating: 5.0

A bad mistake is like an unexpected earthquake
That releases an energy of disastrous headaches
Always think carefully and apply your thoughtful brakes
Your mind could wander for days and ache and ache
You could lead your heart to a journey of heartbreaks

We all make mistakes.
Don't rush in a battle with the insecure fakes
Because one bad mistake
Could either make or break
And the outcome is one you may not escape
Awake, awake! One mistake is all it takes

Women are allowed to make just one mistake
Before there is a decline of handshakes
Men can make multiple mistakes
There is always a different perception -a double-take
As Men have multiple abundant sympathetic headshakes
With men and women there is no tie-break
And that is why in every corner are the rattlesnakes

Think carefully for your own sake
What mistake can you afford to bake?
What consequences can you face or forsake?
Stir life's ingredients gently rather than over shake
Stay wide awake
To catch an outbreak of mistakes
With decisions there is always so much at stake
