Mistakes Poem by emily henson

Mistakes

Once you've jumped
You fall
Plummet into darkness
You reach for something to grab
to hold
You find a small bit of hope to cling to
And painfully make your way back to happiness
When you finally reach it
You wonder
Why you jumped
In the first place
All that pain
Just because
You wanted to know
What it felt like to jump
To feel the thrill of falling
It isn't worth it....
It is never worth it
