Mister Special
I adored you from the start;
You captured my heart.
I really had no choice
When first I heard your voice.
Your penetrating gaze
And charming, winsome ways
Did melt me like butter
And set my heart a-flutter!
Those blue eyes, so dear
Your good-natured cheer
My ardor will endure
Of this, I am sure
Like most men, I fancy myself as Mister Special, but I wonder if I am. A sincere love poem to a special man who would appreciate these rhyming words-lilting couplets.
No, I am not Mr. Special to anyone at the moment, have not been for a long time. Life is still good, though.
