Often than not,
various native Filipinos
evacuees of their own land.
rarely can they live liberally,
streets become their abode.
every corner and under the bridges,
a family or more inhabit uncomfortably;
sickness and hunger control their dwell.
Filled with courage,
it drives most Filipinos
long for a better future.
indulge to uncertainties
putting their lives at stake;
in venturing to foreign lands.
not sure of the consequences
of what shall become of their fate.
Work has become their hope,
only resolution for their crisis;
reassuring their families of luck.
knights they become with fortitude,
every OFW puts everything at risk;
residing in foreign country to do work
seeking for greener pasture for the family.
