"Molested" Original Gayatri Phukan, Translated By Mr Bibekananda Choudhury

Rating: 5.0

As the molested Earth weeps
The Sun fumes in fury
The rain revolts
Which place is free of molestation
Water bodies rivers and streams, hills and mountains

People are getting used to a luxurious life
Molesting everyone
The towns are expanding

The winning cries of modernity
Of the molestator people
Smeared with the blood of mother Earth

There is no classification of perpetrators
Irrespective of being a king or a subject
Irrespective of ones' religious faith or nationality

Let the nature lovers be appointed as judges
Let an act be promulgated
Whose mention itself
Would make the perpetrators of rape and molestation
Shudder in fear
Let nature be protected
Let womenfolk be protected
Let an Act be enacted
An invincible Act
Against the perpetrators or rape.

A sad truth on the devastating effects of man's activities on Nature insightfully captured with cconviction. A work of an intricate mind.
