Moment Poem by Bill Grace

Moment

A moment here!
I notice on the internet things
I neversaw before,
now that he is down -
he's lost his Crown -
is it ok to kick him?

Let's catch the pulse that he has missed
the pulse old Socrates caught long ago
there is something more than the moment
it shows in part with word withheld and word given.

Do we with Nietzsche dare stroke,
the beaten horse in kindness,
this thing that powered Jesus in our time?
BEWARE
hierarchy is not its master
nor its vulnerability!
