Mommy Dearest Poem by Elicia Hoy

Mommy Dearest

It's funny how we always fight
Sometimes for days at a time
How when I'm feeling blue
You're always there for me, through and through
Sometimes I get the honor of your smile
But other times yougime me that look
The one that says ' I wish I didn't know you'
Deep down you don't really mean it
And neither do I
Wnen we go out people ask if we're sisters
You smile because you look so young
I grimmace becausein acruality your not
If I look like your sister I look like a thirty year old woman
But somehow I love It
That I can be so much like my mom
