Monsters In The Mirror Poem by Hannah Victoria

Monsters In The Mirror

Rating: 5.0

Put on that fake smile, darling.
Cover up your lies.
Tell them that you're perfect, darling.
Tomorrow you will rise
With sadness in your heart, darling.
What else will you disguise?

When everything's a burden, darling
Who will be your friend?
Dont risk your reputation, darling,
To tell someone to mend
The brokenness inside you, darling
Can you see the end?

You'll take on your appearance, darling.
You'll challenge it to break.
And eventually it will, my darling
How much can you take?
Beauty will destroy you, darling.
What choice will you make?

Will you take your life, oh darling,
Like so many prior?
You might die alone, my darling.
What more could you desire?
The shotguns all you need, poor darling.
Your sadness has expired.
