Moonflower Poem by Keisha Wright

Moonflower

Illuminating the darkness
They reflect the moonlights glow
Unraveling and exposing
Their pale white petals
While twilight unfolds
Revealing their beauty
A cluster of flower vines
Veiling the earth
They whole heartily grasp upon
Dancing with the wind
They tangle themselves
In a seemingly endless night
Celebrating their rebirth
That they experience
With every coming night
But by dawn they die
Their midnight glory ends
Only to return
When darkness
Covers the earth
Once again
