Moonlight Kiss Poem by Midnight Clarity

Moonlight Kiss

Rating: 4.0

The world is grey
by moonlight
soft and subtle shadings
smooth the edges
of harsh words
harder thoughts
and let them melt
a little, soften to a slap
a little sting that heightens
pleasure for those who know
the other side of pain
and are not afraid
of life lived fast
and breathless
on the edges of the cliff
hidden in the darkling
skies of night.
The world is grey
by moonlight
silver haired seductions
weave their magic
scent of wine, of spices
filling lungs and head
with fragrance that invites
forever closer,
dancing on the edge of the abyss
a reckless spill of trust
of hope all wagered
for a chance at just
one kiss.
