Moonruminations For Walter De La Mare - Poem by indira babbellapati
Tonight's moon has
A special face etched on...
Raka took a peek from behind the coconut leaves
At the little lamps lighted in his honour
Moon crawled into the house
A sparkling spritely toddler!
Jumped into my hands
Amused me for a while
And slipped out like a hyperactive baby
Turned around and gave me a toothy smile!
