Moonset Poem by Jacqueline Aure

Moonset

Rating: 3.0

(original concept by Mary angelyn bautista)

COnfusion astound me
someone pointed that..'.the moon is setting'
to my surprise, i laughed
though indeed, i almost believed.

Obviously hard to distinguish
Akin to human with two faces
Could be astonished with its beauty
but sometimes one should be wary.

It was exceptional for anyone to hear
that the moon also sets,
and so i turned my head back
but it was a sign of the twilight.

with colors that are shimmering
clash of orange and pink
desertion to purple and blue
Fascinating to peek to.

Subsequently will anticipate
for that amazingly called 'moonset'
though its the other way around..
but that is the way one baptized it...
