More Than Just Muscles

Rating: 5.0

I've taken my share of lumps,
and some of them are showing.
I've more than just a few,
and all of them are growing.

Fibro-lipomas they are called,
and they are poking through
the skin of my arms
and legs and chest
and I can't mention
where to find the rest.

''After all is said and done, there's been more said than done.'' ............some famous poet has this listed as a quote (from someone else) which he uses from time to time. hint: the poet's initials are K.B. now to read the poem, after i've glanced at the photo and read Valsa's comment and your response to it. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - i see the two lumps in your chest. Now i'm anxious to see the rest. By brother has them; think of that! You're a mixture of muscles of steel... and wayward, annoying lumps of fat! I may have one of them. i've named it Lloyd, but the doctor called it just.....a hemorrhoid. - - - - - - - - - - - - - bri :) thanks for sharing.

I like the way you have taken it so casually with a tinge of humour.....Are they soft or doughy? Do they give you pain? Enjoyed the write!

They are not soft or doughy. They are sort of like a glass marble under the skin, but not quite that hard. Most of them are not painful, just annoying.
