More Than My Heart Can Bleed Poem by Joseph Mcgarry

More Than My Heart Can Bleed

Note: This is a very personal poem, i urge people to read and review, i don't mind people using my poems but please do remember where it came from, don't take credit for work that isn't yours. The terms in the first 4 sentences were the genuine ways we would tell each other how much we loved the other. Please enjoy, J. McGarry

Forever and ever infinity squared,
that's what you said.
More than my heart can bleed,
that's what I meant.
But you took a step back and locked the doors,
walked away and never looked over your shoulders.
My heart was gone, gave it to you,
I had nothing left but you wait for you.
Night by night I broke down and cried,
for weeks on end waiting on your reply.
Finally you got back, it was awkward at first,
but it got better each time, again and again.
I got hope to have the key to the door,
a chance to change, make it all like before.
I'll never give up, I'm an unstoppable force,
my path is to you, your heart and no more.
Forever and ever infinity squared,
that's what you said.
More than my heart can bleed,
that's what I meant
