Morning Poem Poem by jerry hughes

Morning Poem

is but a half-truth.
To gauge its depth and width
is unfathomable.
But this I know, without you
I am a shell, waithing for a
hermit crab to climb inside.

Such a perfect metaphor for abandonment. Such a beautiful, sad poem. love, Allie xxxx
