Mortality Poem by jerry hughes

Mortality

I look into your eyes
and see magic.
I touch your hand and feel
the vibration of centuries.
Reminding me that we are
mortal, and the span we are
permitted is finite.

And we are the only creatures on earth who are privileged to know this and use it to cherish each new day. Simply expressed straight from the heart. love, Allie xxxx

Short, yet oh so sweet! You are a very great 'expressor' or feelings.
