Morning Tide

I see the rivers in your mind
I see the love i know is you
and after all that we have done
my heart will always stay true

Walking on the sandy beach
tip-toeing through the sand
and when i, m not with you
all my thoughts are in your Hand

now that the time has come
and life is going fast
all your love i want for me
the love i know and hope will last

Fading thoughts have come and gone
Lovers from so far away
acheing hearts and painless souls
wishing for another day

now i, m happy and Content
all my fears have flown away
life ist-self is moving on
to be found another day

so lets stop and not argue
for we have so much to give
let me laugh and hold you tight
let me start to smile and live

now that the time has come
let our dreams stop and stay
Lovers in a precious life
Lovers in a Special way

so my Sweetheart now you know
all my thoughts are just of you
in my life i, ve never loved
as you know i truely do

can we make it through the night
can i hold you by my side
touch your lips and caress
the sweetness of the morning Tide.

Poem of the Day

poet Wilfred Owen

All sounds have been as music to my listening:
Pacific lamentations of slow bells,
The crunch of boots on blue snow rosy-glistening,
Shuffle of autumn leaves; and all farewells:
