Mornings Awakening Poem by ktarcus ...

Mornings Awakening

morning's awakening
The first touch of the morning dew as it manifests itself on the open cup of the hollyhock gazing languidly toward the eastern sky,

The breath of an angel as the warmth of the ground is enfolded within the shear brightness of a summers day,

The musty dark corner of the gazeabo not yet awakened,
so,
still and dank the butterfly waits in expectation,

The heart wrenching moment when realising that not all have survived the cold of the night,

The fleeting glimpse of a future less perfect than expected.

All of these things and more shall at one and the same time make of you're senses.
The very essence of your soul.
