Mother Mary Pray For Me Poem by Zoe MacPherson

Mother Mary Pray For Me

Mother Mary Pray for Me,
As I sit in the darkness of my sorrow.
Deprived of love and shy to joy,
I feel so gone and hollow.

I do not care for another day,
I do not wish for a tomorrow.
Mother Mary Pray for Me,
As I sit in the darkness of my sorrow.

I wish to be gone, I wish to leave,
The torment of sights, so cold to grieve.
The bitter taste of ending one's life,
No victory to be held, just the silence as they fell.

Mother Mary Pray for Me,
As I sit in the darkness of my sorrow.
Please help me to be free of this shame,
For I am the one to blame.

Mother Mary Please Pray for Me.
