Mother. My Greatest Friend. Poem by Mervyn Graham

Mother. My Greatest Friend.

The Greatest Friend I will ever have,
has left this world today.
And in God's house for ever more,
We will meet again I pray.
Her love for me was more precious than any other,
Because you see that dearest friend,
Was my very own dear mother.
Mother dear your missed so much,
Much more than words can say.
But if one day again we chance to meet,
I pray to find you there with Dad,
At our Lord Jesus's feet.
