Mother's Fury Poem by Rownel Allen

Mother's Fury

C'mon and hit me, face me a like a man
I'm not scared anymore
I'm ready to fight, fight till I get weak
But I will stand up again, and beat you up close

I was a chicken before, now I'm a lion
Just about ready to attack you, watch out for your horn
Not my kids this time, what you did to me before
Don't you dare hurt them, you will regret you were born

I regret that I believed in every promise that you made
'Been in hell but still, I thought you would have changed
You are simply worthless, spent your life in vain
It could have been wonderful with your four angels around

Try me this time, see what you're looking for
Your time is up, go walk through that door
Forgive me Dear Lord, for this cursing in my mouth
This is just too much, I can't handle it no more
