Mother's Love Poem by Diana Americano

Mother's Love

wanting your love
wanting your faith
i just want you there
i miss you
i wish you knew my sadness
you love them more
love me less
a mother's love
so warm so kind
or so i though
mother's love so cold and gloomy
all i want is your love
please can't you see?
i am afraid to loose you
we have drifted apart
all i get is a hello and goodbye
a ride to school
a ride home
and you disappear
i know you work
and i have AP work to do
but can't we have fun
just a little?
i miss how we were
so happy and close
mother's love was so warm
i thought it would last forever...
so i was wrong
i want that to change
i want my mother's love...
