God sent his blessing from above
Lovely as a rose
Filled with love
Filled with life as it grows


Cherish by the ones she cared for
The ones she listens too and help calm their fear
Pray for the ones in war
And the ones she holds dear

Lovely as a rose is she
Cared and love me
Shelter and clothes my bearskin
Love me without and within

Gives me love when know-one else’s will
Cared for me when I am ill
Encourage me in the things I want to do
Hold me closed when I am blue

Lovely as a Rose, The only mother I knew
And there’s know one as lovely as you
