Mother says that it's a memory Poem by Eva Ström

Mother says that it's a memory

Rating: 4.0

Mother says that it's a memory
and I can have it
I can have her memory
and stitch it to mine, it has frayed edges
It's no gray rag, it's silk
and you won't leave me, says mother
Miracles happen, she says and I say
that I will hem the scarf and make it whole
