Motherhood Hue Poem by Varsha M

Motherhood Hue

Rating: 5.0

The day that seed implants
My soul inside me expands
For the new life within my uterine nidus.

Suddenly the life with decelerated swiftness
Found its destination ultimate
The day that seed implants

Within myself, awesome feel is
As I nurture another soul inside
For the new life within my uterine nidus.

The face with ordinary looks
Suddenly got its glaze varnish
The day that seed implants.

Time passes, my tummy enlarges
Showing the soul within me is healthy
For the new life within my uterine nidus.

Happy am I, as I go in labor
To hold my cherished soul
The day that seed implants
For the new life within my uterine nidus.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I actually wanted to try for Villanelle. I was much touched by two young pegions growing in my balcony. That made me to think of this poem.
