Motherly Instinct Poem by Jayatissa K. Liyanage

Motherly Instinct

Drawing from inner soul, high and wide, she grows
up in to heavens, outspreading branches and twigs
effecting from ecstatic communication with divines
yields buds flowers and fruits, in mundaneadolescence

In rainbow colors, divergent types 'n emerald designs
her yields with vintage generosity, she adores
Mother earth in her pristine love to the sky above
Approves, the conjuncture of universal esteem

Watchingin heartfelt delight, she beholds
bees, butterflies, birds on fluttering wings
She, being aware 'o their need, wouldn't mind
for, she 's convinced, they are a part of herself
