Mothers Day Card Poem by Not Long Left

Mothers Day Card

A mothers day card,
lays beside a fox ravaged bin bag,
'For a special mum'
written in glitter.
with added decoration,
from spaghetti.
a commercial recogonition of love,
lost and forgot,
the moment the last kiss cross the page,
its not the sight,
that sadness me
its the fact i never felt to send my mum
one.

A good snapshot with a very telling message. It reminds me of when I was abroad and I missed Mother's day because it falls on a different day in the rest of the world. By the way, I think you may have a typo on line 11.
