Mourning Mist Poem by Connor Brown

Mourning Mist

Rating: 3.8

I see your face
in the mist of the morning air
the sea, moored at the harbor brings memories
descending from the reaches of places unknown
the silent setting moon brings a silent mournful cry
as it lays itself down, unable to go on
though sun shall rise
in less time then apparent
it shall never shine over my world
ever again
no one will catch me
ever again
and no one will love me
ever again
