Moved Round Here And There Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Moved Round Here And There

Moved round
Here and there
The Ageing Poet-Seer communicated
With Spirits and the
Rest
These in his house roamed free
And bold
By day and night
By day in light of day
By night
In low-dim neon light:
Lady-Spirits there were too
And the Poet-Seer to them spoke
And his heart open was for Love
A love Platonic
Yet it was as flesh.
