Moving On Poem by Delainey Lopez

Moving On

You left me.
You broke my heart.
You left me crying in my mothers arms.
You ignored me.
You blamed me for everything.
You were always yelling.
You made me feel lower than low.

But it is me who still holds on.
From the first kiss to the last.
From holding hands to locking feet.
To all of the 'I love you's'

But I am done.
With the pain and the blaming.
It's my time to stand.
It's my turn to walk away.
It's my choice to be happy.
