Moyne Shire Poem by Francis Duggan

Moyne Shire

In the Moyne Shire it is such a beautiful day
In the blue sunny sky just a few clouds of gray
A weather high for the day of a pleasant twenty two degrees
And the warmair full of the buzzing of bush flies and bees
The flutelike songs of the birds who sing every day of the year
The black and white magpies areso pleasant to hear
At the end of December the old year very old
And Nature at her finest for to behold
On this beautiful Summer's evening in the gentle breeze
White butterflies flitting around the sunlit bushes and trees
From the beautiful Moyne Shire on this beautiful day
Earthly Utopia cannot be far away
The beauty in Nature to view always free
Wherever i turn to look it is all around me.
