Mr. Leslie Philibert`s Attempt To Write A Poem About A Fat Pig Poem by Leslie Philibert

Mr. Leslie Philibert`s Attempt To Write A Poem About A Fat Pig

Lots of pink circles; wobble rings
a steadfast porcine; air holes and soft haired ears.
Chops; two legs for a cast iron pot; a baby.
A tail and private bits; scrabble buttocks; a shit maschine.
More of the same; but not all -

the sound and the smell
an insulted oink and a warm-nosed banger.
A noble creature indeed.

i must comment on this as you left a nice comment for me. AND there are no comments here already. don't you hate it when it appears people are ignoring your poems? ? ? of course there are SO many on this site and so many poets. is maschine a british spelling? i could check on that myself, but as a uppity AMERICAN i refuse to be bothered. have you seen my poem beginning U.K.....? wobble rings and scrabble buttocks and bangers are unamerican perhaps as well, though i have some ideas about them. (well, yes, i know of buttocks; i have some myself.) we do have an english tea room/restaurant in town featuring british food including bangers.....sausages? i had chocolate cake and milk and mashed potatoes the first time i went there. nice attempt. will you make a second attempt? have you written of other animals? bri thanks for sharing.
