My Angel Poem by Jade Baker

Angelic eyes,
A birth of a miracle,
Perfection and beauty inside,
The warmth of her touch,
Heaven is not enough,
She’d shine the brightest,
Light up the cloudiest sky,
With just one smile,
I could walk for miles,
With her by my side,
She’d give me the strength I need,
With her love I can succeed

Through the years,
She’s shared the laughter and the tears,
Held me when I could not be strong,
Taught me the right from the wrong,
Gave me all I’ve ever needed,
Showed me the meaning of love,
Told me I was good enough,
She always believed in me,
Always unconditionally

If I could write a thousand words,
They still could not compare,
For all the times she’s been there,
Always on my side,
With loyalty in which I can always rely,
Kindness that only she can bring,
She’s an angel without wings,
She kept me safe and warm,
Always bringing the sun through the storm

Her faith in life never ceases to amaze me,
How wonderful a person can be,
With the warmth of her heart,
She still touches me when we’re apart,
Guiding me through the good and bad times,
Showing me the truth from the lies,
I swear that it’s true,
That no matter what I do,
She’s always there,
Showing me how much she cares

And when her time comes,
I know she’ll never leave me alone,
She’ll always live on,
For angels are never truly gone
