My Angel. Poem by monica martinez

My angel is watching me as I talk to you. She says that I should watch you. Never to trust someone like you, you will hurt me and lie to me. But, I don’t listen to her. I think to myself why she would tell me to watch you. As I say good-bye I turn back and see you move in to kiss that girl.... The one my angel warned me about. So, now I’m sitting in my room writing this and I tell myself.... Thank You Angel!
