My Beloved Mother Poem by Paul Sebastian

My Beloved Mother

Rating: 5.0

'Mom, ' the sweetest name of all
More a million times I'd have called
Since a babe, her name meant all
If not for her, I am not who I am
She molded me to become all I can
It's she I take after her
In flesh, blood and soul, I am my mother
She will always be, here and hereafter
My beloved mother!

I have courage to stand on my own
Spiritually and mentally I am strong
Emotional pain I can withstand
On my values, firmly I stand
Steadfast to my God-like faith
Life has been easier to take
As sunset years pass by
Challenges come, I won't sigh
But face them, one day at a time
Strengths, mom-planted, in my prime
My beloved mother!
