My Best Companion - My Dear Sister Poem by Ariv azhagan

My Best Companion - My Dear Sister

You come to play
with me
When I had
to study

When I say 'no'
You stop smiling at me, and
With your sad face
and a bit of acting
You always made me say 'yes'

Oh! the times when you
fought with me, and teased me like a monkey
I promised not to fight with you again
a thousand promises already broken
and still we fight a dozen times daily
for things small and big

You are my battlefield
and you are my garden of peace

You are my sole heart, and
You are my heart's soul

Your innocent smile
will stay forever in one's memory
as mine

Your complaints are unstoppable
just as my unconditional love

When I sacrificed
my big things for your small ones
You were so happy
that you flew so high

You are my best companion
You are my only best companion

When things went wrong
You spoke so silly that
it made me laugh out loud, and
then you laughed along with me
till the end of the day

Even my Barbie
would be so jealous of your beauty
that I need to keep an eye over her now

Everything is more than enough
if you are with me
and nothing is there with me
when you are not around

My beloved Sister
I love you more than this world

When I give you a 1000 crayons
You demand a 1000 more

Your art is
better than my heart

O My best companion
Always be with me
as I love you

I love you, and I love you forever.
