Day or night, dark or light
This person is always here.
By the moon and the stars,
She helps me overcome fears.
Throughout the darkness of my day,
She will be with me till the end.
She is someone I trust and love,
I call her my best friend.
Whenever things never seem to
Go exactly as I hoped they would.
She made me feel better and better
In the best way that she could.
When there’s a problem and it
Seems as if there’s no way out.
Here she comes with her box of magic,
Erasing all my doubts.
When there’s a rainy day, and
I don’t feel like moving on,
She reminds me of times that we were
Little, and she sings my favorite song.
She cheers me up and always tells
Me reasons to move on with life.
She talks me out of any thoughts that
Would involve anything relating to a knife.
For my best friend is the greatest
Person I could ever ask for.
We would never leave each other…
She’s all I need, and more!
