My Birthday Poem by Alexander McCray

My birthday was great but it could have been better
On account of the very bad weather
My family had fun and at one point me
And my friend George and my other friend that makes three
I loved my birthday it is a beautiful time
To see my nieces and nephews it was sublime
But I had to know what made my grandma and grandpa mess the show I mess them so much I wish they were here I really do
But all together they love me and that true
I love them but they will never know
Or see this beautiful show
But maybe they do know up in haven
That I love them so much and my brother davin
I love them all and they love me
But on my birthday everything is free
Most my friends are cool and so are I
But some of there games just don’t fly
I love my birthday and it does me when my birthday comes my world is filled with glee
It makes me so happy because although some of my family is up in haven I know that they will know when my birthday is because I’ll send them a little mental picture
Of me and my family doing our best
To stand together no matter in the east or the west
I love my family and I love my birthday
All together what can I say?
What thanks for coming thanks for staying
Maybe next time will go to the park and start playing
I think not but you’ll see you me and my family
Maybe next time you’ll come
To my family bloom on there birthdays and mine but now I think I’ll have to end my birthday because my nephew put his hand in the cake but maybe my dad will take me fishing at the lake it will be a good thing to see the fishes fly
But the bad thing is I have to tell my birthday good bye
And I tell it I’ll see it next year but maybe you’ll see my nephew turning ten so good bye have good year mine is over because it was dear
