My Birthday Poem by Titiksa Dugar

It was a normal day,
I had gone out to play.
Everyone was giggling and looking sly
I was gazing at the sky, wondering why?

I went to my room,
To revise the lessons I had done in the classroom,
When suddenly the lights went out! ! !
And I heard a yell and a shout.....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! ! ! !

I was speechless and amazed,
To know what I gazed.
All my friends and family around a cake
Which was beautiful and freshly baked

I now realized it was my big day
MY BIRTHDAY! ! ! ! !
