My Broken Dad Poem by Adetubo Lateef Segun

This is a poem (Dedicated to broken homes) .

My broken dad
The joy of a child;
to have the love of my parents
most especially my father.
My broken dad
You have a father that loves you but never shows it.
His family ain't happy with him
they are enduring but for how long will this last?
I wish happiness for mum but its not happening
Guess Iwill have to make that work.

My broken dad,
The world is against him but hes not seeing it
he feels its normal but its affecting the rest of the family.
I pray God intervene in his life
make him whole again
cos i can't just imagine myself without a dad.
A father is a leader, an helper, a rare gem
A father is more like the whole world
But he's nothing without a mother.
Mothers are queens, teachers, advisers and even a small god to the family.
A family without a mother is like an earth without a God.

My Broken dad!
I wish your broken parts are mended.
