My Brother Poem by Sharon Page

My Brother

My Brother
You were taken much too soon and we wish you were still here,
your legacy lives on through Little Tarik and Jamir.

You are my brother genetically, by the nature of our birth.

God devinely chose you, the best on this earth.

As kids, we lived together, we fought, we laughed, we cried.

We did not always show the love that we both had inside.

In time we grew to find a love that is very strong today.

It's a love shared by our family that will never fade away.

Memories of good times will give strength to make it through,

your in a better place now and I'll always love you.

Impeccable style and taste were expressed in how you dressed,

your integrity and character which described you best.

I will keep your memory alive as long as I am on this earth,

Guiding your sons with love, family, dignity and self worth.
