My Confession Poem by Brian Ely

My Confession

I'm not going to Heaven
Already here
Floating so graceful
Year to year
So i'm not growing up
Just killing my fear
This place is my home
Or death takes me from here
Either way heaven holds me
The babe that i am
Been crying for so long
A smile like a song
One loud constant voice
How could it be wrong?
Try not to grow wings
Instead hear the birds sing
Cages a curse
Weapons are worse
When you die
You are dead
Just lay there
You silly head.
